Self Introduction
I am an Architect and I live in London. I’m half British half Argentinian and I graduated from UCL’s Bartlett School of Architecture. I’ve worked with architectural practices in Buenos Aires and London including Nicholas Grimshaw, Estudio Livingston and Michaelis Boyd Associates. My interests in Architecture predominantly lie in the evolving relationship of emerging technologies with both digital design processes and final built output. Investigations with three dimensional modelling, generative components and computational design methods are of particular interest to me.
In 2012 I founded Red Deer, a London based architecture studio which draws on various disciplines to reanimate design. Inspired by craftsmanship, making, painting, film and digital processes. The studio critically engages with materials, detail and project briefs to introduce elements of playfulness, tactility and the unexpected into every project. Red Deer is for a fusion of architecture, the arts and cool with due regard to function and the broader social and economic considerations of place making.
I am also a founding member of Les Méchants, a London based multi-disciplinary collective made up of a diverse group of professionals who work together in a continuous creative wave to build dynamic interventions which play a part in the wider context of participatory and community-led design.
I also teach MArch Architecture at Oxford Brookes University (Studio Design Unit 7).
