Self Introduction

Hello, my name is Mike Burnett and I am volunteering for the Mars One mission.  I currently work as an avionics technician for U.S. Army Aviation as a state employee.  I served 5 years in the Air Force as an Aerospace Physiology Specialist.  So, I understand the perils of this endeavor.  Please consider selecting me as one of your astronaut candidates.

Interests

I love outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and rafting.  I also have been gardening a small 15’x45’ plot with varying degrees of success.  I am a computer enthusiast and enjoy tinkering; I have a desktop that runs Kubuntu Operating System.  Recently acquired my “HAM” Amateur Radio License.
